I just got the following message about meetings DMR is holding on levee repair.
Thought this might be of interest to some of you.
This is to inform you of upcoming Department of Water Resources (DWR) public meetings being held in order to provide an update of the levee repair work being conducted in Yuba, Sutter, Yolo, Sacramento, and Solano counties.
The sites that will be discussed are located on the Sacramento River, Bear River, Sutter Slough, and Steamboat Slough.
Please accept an apology for the short notice of this event. The construction schedules for the emergency levee repair program fluctuate and don’t always allow for much lead-time in planning and conducting public meetings.
Given time constraints, this email is being generated in an attempt to disseminate information in as timely a manner as possible.
DWR will provide an update for the repair work affecting the communities in the above-mentioned areas. Following the presentation, DWR officials and key project staff will be on hand to address any questions or concerns.
