Yolo County Flood Control and Water Conservation District
Biography:
Ron Tadlock's ancestors were among the first settlers in Yolo County back in the 1850's. He comes from a long line of farmers, going back at least four generations. In over forty years of farming he has grown an extensive list of crops. Currently, he raises almonds, alfalfa, corn, sunflowers and safflower. He is an active member of the agricultural community and belongs to the Yolo County Farm Bureau as well as the Yolo Bypass Working Group. First appointed to the YCFC&WCD board in 2005 by Frank Seiferman Jr. and re-appointed by Supervisor Matt Rexroad in 2007, Tadlock is interested in having new sources of water developed in the county, as well as addressing local drainage issues.
